As always the pizza was fantastic. The staff seemed hurried and unhappy. A very large birthday event was going on in the private party area and the staff was torn between servicing that group and the diners in the front of the house. I tried to place my takeout order over the phone and gave up after 10 minutes on hold and walked in to start my order. The manager was gracious but very stressed and clearly needed more hands but didn’t have them. This is one of the few Shakeys left and it continues to uphold their standard of product and quality in the best possible way. Shakeys needs to recognize this and allow this manager more staff to maintain shakeys tradition of the best pizza ever. We are third generation Shakeys fans and want to see them continue that tradition for many more years. 70 years is a great milestone for this business and should be supposed by its parent company as such. Thank you Sylmar staff & manager for giving us a super Shakeys experience once again!!

The Bunch of Lunch was so good! I had concerns if the chicken was crunchy. I asked Alexandria if she could help me select the crunchy ones. She went above and beyond and helped Me find the juicy breast from the fryer. I like my chicken really hot and fresh. She also helped me get my favorite pizza selection quick. I couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. The soda was fire she turned the carbonation up cause I'm sensitive to low bubbles. Thanks Alexander!!!!

The food and overall atmosphere is enjoyable to be with the whole family. The parking could be a hassle when busy.

Shakey's is a fun place! At lunchtime it was filled with families and local workers stopping in for pizza, mojos, chicken and salad bar. We purchased the brunch special and had a little of everything. As I remembered it, all the food was pretty good. There were pitchers of beer flowing, music and hot food. What else could you ask for from a pizza parlor? A good option for this type of food.

The place was good. The service was not really there. I had the bunch a lunch buffet. The little pieces of pizza were good and the Mojo's. I also had the s'mores pizza for dessert. It was actually good. It was not as sweet as I thought it was to be. Overall , it was good but really crowded during lunch.
